Make sure your RM1 firmware is up to date. See Update RM1. For general troubleshooting, also refer to Troubleshooting.

Can I use more Views App connections?

RM1 Pro is delivered with two 52-8511 Views App licenses. Each concurrently open Views App connection consumes one license. Contact your DHD distributor to purchase additional licenses.

Can I add additional DHD licenses to my RM1 Pro?

Yes. RM1 Pro behaves like a standard DHD Series 52 core device, so additional (e.g. software or feature) licenses can be added the usual way.

Does the standard RM1 Web UI also work with RM1 Pro?

No, the standard RM1 Web UI is not compatible with RM1 Pro. For all user interface interactions with RM1 Pro, you must use the Views app, which is designed to display the advanced features and flexibility of RM1 Pro and to integrate seamlessly into existing DHD systems.

Can I connect a DHD surface to RM1 Pro?

Not directly. RM1 Pro has no APC port. However, Remote Faders are available as a separate license, allowing you to control RM1 Pro channels from another DHD system and vice versa.

Can I revert an RM1 Pro back to a standard RM1 mode?

Yes. Perform a factory reset from the RM1 front panel display. Toolbox configuration, snapshots, and network settings will be deleted and the unit will return to its base (non‑Pro) state. RM1 Pro licenses remain stored inside the device, so you can re‑enter Pro mode at any time after reconfiguration.

To perform a factory reset, on the front panel display go to Device > Reset to Factory. If needed, back up important data (e.g. snapshots) beforehand.
